This semester, UNC Girls Who Code is completely virtual. Our meetings are held every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5-6:30pm through Zoom. Classes start the week of August 31st and will continue through the week of November 3rd.
The Graduate Women in Computer Science (GWiCS) group at UNC will be hosting the second annual Tar Heel Hack on Sat. February 23 from 10-4 in the Frederick P. Brooks Jr. Computer Science Building on UNC’s campus! The hackathon is open to all local students in 6th-12th grade.
Lunch will be provided, and parents/guardians are encouraged to return by 3:30 for the award ceremony and project presentations.
We will send out additional information as we get closer to the event, but for now, if you have any questions you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Don’t worry! Let us know here! Fill out this quick form and you’re all set to miss a meeting or temporarily attend on a different day.
Due to UNC’s Fall break, we will not be holding a club session on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. We invite club members too attend either the Monday or Tuesday sessions of that week!
We hope you’ve been enjoying the break so far! We want to see what you can come up with during this time — if you have something fun you’re working on, email email@example.com with a link to your project.
We’ll look through all of the submissions and showcase some of them at our first meeting back after break.
You can make anything you want, so we’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Good luck, and have fun!
